I was trying to obtain the main riff from this amazing song and this was the result so far. I know this is not the right way to play it because I am moving the lower strings, when the ones that move are the lower in the original song, but I will get there soon.

I used my VOX AD60VT Valvetronix amplifier with the Fender Bassman emulation (Tweed 4x10) to get a smiliar tone and I use a Schecter Omen 6 guitar with humbuckers.
I know I am not a brother, but I feel the groove and emotion running through my veins. Afroamerican musicians are the best to me....

Most of the criticisms I received for the PRS vs Stratocaster Video suggested that I improve the effects and amp I was using. In fact I was using cheap ZOOM effects and have never really thought about 'tone' as much as other guitarists obviously do.
I have now purchased better effects (BOSS) and a VOX AD120vt Amp. This short clip features an American Fender Stratocaster 1990 and the VOX amp. I have minimised the effects and tried to get the original Strat and VOX tone.
I think there is an improvement in the tone....
