Bakersfield P.D. was a smart, different and very funny show in 1993/94. This show is a lost treasure and when you can get it watch it! Its about a half black, half italian police officer (Giancarlo Esposito) from Washington, D.C. who comes to Bakersfield, California. There he finds himself the first black cop on the decidedly odd small town force.
