That's why I just can't help feeling disgusted with the behaviors of the PRC. Simply, the Chinese people deserve a better government. In democratic countries, it is perfectly fine to love your country but hate its political leader. Patriotic Chinese people: I know you are very proud of your country, culture, and history. But why does it automatically make you love the current government? It should be okay to question and criticize your government! It doesn't mean you are betraying your country! China deserves a better government. The current PRC should not be the best thing China can have. Your love for your country should motivate you to critically evaluate your current government. Otherwise, you are accepting that the quality of the current government represents the quality of your civilization.
